# Manage the Centipid wallet

For ISPs with the Centipid wallet capability, **Payments** includes views for Payments, Collections, and Withdrawals. ISPs without it see the normal payment ledger only.

## Collections

Collections represent qualifying customer money received into the wallet flow. Use the collection view to compare gross inflow, fees/adjustments where shown, status, subscriber/receipt context, and available balance.

Do not equate the sum of every payment method with withdrawable wallet balance. Manual/offline methods and unsettled transactions may not fund the wallet.

## Request a withdrawal

1. Open the Withdrawals view/action.
2. Review the current available amount and request a quote where provided.
3. Enter an amount meeting the displayed minimum.
4. Enter the recipient mobile-money number (required, maximum 32 characters).
5. Enter the recipient name when useful (optional, maximum 120).
6. Request the six-digit action OTP. OTP requests are rate-limited.
7. Review fees/net amount/recipient in the confirmation.
8. Submit once and track the resulting withdrawal status.

<Warning>
  Verify the recipient number and name before submitting. A successful request can dispatch money externally and may not be reversible from the application.
</Warning>

## Status and reconciliation

Separate request acceptance, dispatch, provider processing, success, and failure. A pending withdrawal should not be resubmitted until its provider state is understood. Reconcile the wallet ledger with provider/bank settlement and the payment records that funded it.

## Failed withdrawal

Read the failure reason and whether the failure is retryable. Confirm balance, recipient format, provider availability, and any earlier dispatch reference. Retry only through the supported action and never by creating a second manual payment/collection record.

## Security

* Never share the action OTP.
* Use an administrator account with 2FA.
* Review staff finance permissions regularly.
* Do not store recipient lists or OTPs in notes.
* Escalate with the withdrawal ID/reference, status, timestamps, and sanitized error—not gateway secrets.
