## Collect payments with bKash

`BKASH` sends the payer to **bKash's own payment page**, where they type their
bKash wallet number, the OTP bKash texts them, and their PIN.

bKash then sends the payer back to your portal. Centipid Billing asks bKash
whether the payer finished, and only then tells bKash to take the money. The
package is credited when bKash confirms the payment is complete. A payer who
closes the page before coming back is not charged.

The money goes into **your own bKash merchant account**. Centipid Billing never
holds it. You open the account and get the Tokenized Checkout credentials from
bKash yourself.

Offered in the country catalog for Bangladesh only. Your billing currency must
be `BDT`, or payments are refused before they reach bKash.

## Configure the gateway

#### Get Tokenized Checkout credentials from bKash

Ask bKash for live **Tokenized Checkout** credentials on your merchant
account: an app key, an app secret, a username and a password.

#### Open Settings → Payments → bKash

Select bKash from the payment marketplace.

#### Enter all four credentials

Paste the app key, app secret, username and password, then switch to
bKash. Keep the secret and the password private.

## Callback URLs

There is nothing to register with bKash. The return address is sent with each
payment, and bKash sends no webhook to set up.
