Prefer stable identifiers:- subscriber username/account number/phone/email;
- MAC or framed IP for network incidents;
- receipt/reference/invoice number for money;
- router identity;
- ticket ID/subject;
- voucher code;
- equipment serial number.

- Reconcile a sample and totals.
- Store with controlled access and remove temporary copies.

- Download the current template where offered.
- Preserve headers and required formats.
- Normalize identifiers as text.
- Preview/parse before writing.
- Test a small representative batch.
- Keep the result summary and avoid blind re-upload.
Spreadsheet safety
Treat imported formulas, leading=, macros, hidden columns, and altered phone/account number formatting as risks. Use CSV/plain values where the workflow expects them and inspect files from external parties before upload.
