For Ugandan accounts (country UG), JulyPay appears in the Payment Gateway dropdown to handle online payments. About JulyPay: Learn more at julypay.net.
Centipid only allows one active payment gateway at a time. When you select and save a gateway in the Payments tab, it becomes the gateway used for all online payments until you switch to another one.
When you select JULYPAY in the Payment Gateway dropdown, Centipid shows the JulyPay‑specific fields you need to fill. Use the credentials from your JulyPay dashboard and click Save changes when you’re done.

Gateway details

  • Webhook URL: use your Centipid subdomain like the IOTEC callback, but with the JulyPay path, e.g. https://your-account-subdomain.centipidtechnologies.com/api/julypay/callback (the exact domain depends on your account).
  • Supported country: Uganda (UG).
  • Supported payment methods: Mobile Money.
  • Currency: UGX (Ugandan Shilling).
  • Minimum amount: 500 UGX.

Required fields

You’ll see JulyPay‑specific fields such as wallet/client identifiers and API credentials. Copy each value exactly from your JulyPay dashboard into the matching field shown in Centipid.

Setup steps

  1. Sign up or sign in at app.julypay.net and complete verification.
  2. In JulyPay, generate your API key (and any wallet/client IDs if required).
  3. Set the webhook URL in JulyPay to your account callback (same host as your IOTEC callback, path /api/julypay/callback), e.g. https://your-account-subdomain.centipidtechnologies.com/api/julypay/callback, and enable the relevant webhook events.
  4. In Centipid, open System Settings → Payments and choose JULYPAY in the Payment Gateway dropdown.
  5. Paste the JulyPay API key (and other required IDs) into the matching fields, then click Save changes.

Testing your JulyPay integration

  1. Create or pick a low‑cost test package in Centipid.
  2. From your portal, buy that package and complete the JulyPay checkout.
  3. Confirm that:
    • The payment request is processed successfully by JulyPay.
    • The transaction shows as paid in Centipid.
    • The customer’s package activates and they can connect (Hotspot or PPPoE, depending on your setup).
If something fails, recheck the credentials and any required callbacks in both Centipid and your JulyPay dashboard, then repeat the test.
